Our Story
Quip Medical was born from witnessing the physician billing crisis firsthand. Throughout medical school, Yoobin sat by supervisors losing thousands in compensation due to billing inefficiencies and knew something had to change. Partnering with Brian, a biomedical engineering graduate, they created an AI-powered solution that extracts optimized billing codes directly from clinical documentation.
Our founders recognized that billing inefficiencies significantly contribute to physician burnout and Canada's growing physician shortage. By automating these processes, Quip not only recovers lost revenue - it gives doctors back their time and passion for patient care.
